This scratch resistant doormat is made in the UK and is machine washable on a low temperature. Machine washable at 30° and can be tumble dried on a low temperature.

So far the Mat has done exactly as required and protected the carpet on which it is placed. Since purchasing, it has not been necessary to wash the Mat. So cannot comment on effectiveness after a good wash. Pleased purchaser so far.
